I started diving in late 2000 and in 2002 I wanted to try capturing the beautiful underwater things I was seeing. I purchased my first digital SLR in late 2002, used it on a 2003 Antarctica trip, went diving with it soon thereafter, and a new passion was born. 

  My next land trip was to Tanzania to photograph essentially what ever moved. From there I expanded to other parts of Africa, plus Madagascar & India. I was now hooked on traveling whenever & wherever I could. Photograpy simply became a fun part of the whole travel experience.

  In 2010, a friend offered to help me set up a site on SmugMug so I could share my pics with others. We created my site in June 2010, posting pics from all trips from 2003 through 2010. I then posted pics for my 2011 trips . Shortly thereafter I met a wonderful lady and we were soon married. I continued to take pictures during our trips but image processing did slow down a bit for a few years.

  My site was just refreshed in October 2016. I am now catching up posting pics for 2012 through 2015 trips.  2016 trips are currently up to date and I hope to post our future trips as they occur.  Stay tuned!
